About Us
Our Story
In Spanish, casa means home — a place to gather, linger, and feel welcome. Ama comes from amar, meaning to love. Together, the name reflects the spirit of the restaurant: a house of warmth, flavor, and connection.
Located in Prairie Village, CASA AMA is a modern Mexican inspired kitchen by Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Herbalist, Restaurateur Robin Krause, founder of Billie’s Grocery.
Inspired by the flavors, places, and meals that stay with you, the menu is centered on layered flavors, vibrant spices, and bold ingredients—shaped by travel and the cuisines we return to again and again. It’s the kind of food that brings people to the table and keeps them there.
Weekend brunch, lively lunches, long dinners, and drinks that carry the night—CASA AMA is built for whatever the day turns into, always circling back to the table.
For something more intimate, we host private fiestas for up to 50—easy, well-paced nights built around good food, cocktails and agave pours, and being together.
Bienvenidos a CASA AMA.
